关于成立东南大学仪器科学与工程学院发展基金 (仪源基金)的倡议书
亲爱的海内外校友和广大朋友：
东南大学仪器科学与工程学院所属学科专业创建于1960年。仪器科学与技术学科先后入选江苏省一级重点学科和江苏省优势学科，也是东南大学“双一流”支持建设的重点学科。学院建有4个博士学位授权点、3个硕士学位授权点以及2个本科专业。学院牵头4个省部级科研平台，参建3个国家级科研平台，设有1个实验教学中心和6个研究所。
学院坚持以学科建设为龙头，以队伍建设为核心，以基地建设为保障，通过精心规划和努力建设，形成了一支以国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、国家“万人计划”专家以及一批国家级、省部级优秀中青年学术带头人为核心的高水平师资队伍。现有专任教师75人，其中教授27人、副教授30人，97%的专任教师具有国内外博士学位。
学院科研综合实力强，近五年，学院牵头获得国家技术发明二等奖1项、国家科技进步二等奖1项，省部级科学技术一等奖6项，牵头国家重点研发计划项目、国家自然基金重点项目、国防重点研究/型号项目等国家级科研任务100余项，近五年累计科研经费到款超过3亿元人民币，形成了一批服务国家战略、国民经济发展的重大科技成果。
学院人才培养特色鲜明，30%以上毕业生省级以上竞赛获奖，获挑战杯竞赛全国特等奖1组，一等奖1组，省级特等奖2组。毕业生专业基础扎实，创新实践能力强，广受用人单位欢迎。学院一直重视国际化人才培养，近年来与加拿大多伦多大学等多所知名高校建立了合作，积极开展国际交流。
为进一步促进学院的发展，推动东南大学“仪器科学与技术”学科由国内领先向国际领先迈进，增进与校友以及社会各界人士的联络，并为学科发展和人才培养提供支持，拟成立“东南大学仪器科学与工程学院发展基金 (仪源基金)”，期盼得到广大海内外校友和社会各界朋友的大力支持。
本基金将致力于培养具有家国情怀和国际视野、能够担当引领未来和造福人类的领军人才，将主要用于基础设施建设、高端人才引育、领军人才培养、重大科研设备更新与维护、学院特色文化建设及其他推进学院建设发展等项目。我们期待和欢迎您共同关注和支持仪器科学与工程学院！

Proposal for Establishing the Development Fund of the School of InstrumentScience and Engineering, Southeast University
Dear alumni andfriends,
The School of InstrumentScience and Engineering in Southeast University was founded in 1960. Instrument Science and Technology has beenselected as the first level key discipline of Jiangsu Province and the superiordiscipline of Jiangsu Province, and is also a key discipline supported by the"Double First-class" construction of Southeast University. The schoolhas 4 doctoral degree programs, 3 master degree programs and 2 undergraduateprograms. The school leads 4 provincial and ministerial research platforms,participates in the construction of 3 national research platforms, and has 1experimental teaching center and 6 research institutes.
The school adheres todiscipline construction as the leading direction, team construction as the coreand base construction as the guarantee. Through careful planning and hard work,the school formed a high-level team with the recipients of the National ScienceFoundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, experts of the National "TenThousand Talents Program" and a number of outstanding young and a group ofnational, provincial and ministerial outstanding young and middle-aged academicleaders as the core of a high-level teaching team. There are 75 full-time faculties,including 27 professors and 30 associate professors. 97% of full-time facultieshave PhD both at home and abroad.
The school is active inscientific research. In the recent five years, the school led to win a second prizeof the national technical invention, a second prize of the national scientificand technological progress, 6 first prizes of the provincial science andtechnology. The school held more than 100 state-level scientific research tasks,including national key research projects, key projects of national naturalfund, and national defense key research/model project. Over the past fiveyears, more than 300 million yuan of research funds have been allocated, and anumber of major scientific and technological achievements have been made thatserve the national strategy and economic development.
The college has adistinctive talent cultivation feature. More than 30% of its graduates have wonprovincial, national or international level competitions. Students won onegroup of national special prize, one group of first prize and two groups ofprovincial special prize in “Challenge Cup” competition. Graduates with solidprofessional foundation and strong ability of innovation and practice arewidely welcomed by employers. The school has always attached importance to thetraining of international talents. In recent years, the school has established closedcooperation with well-known universities such as the University of Toronto andactively carried out international exchange programs.
In order to furtherpromote the development, promote the discipline of Southeast University "InstrumentScience and Technology" from leading in China to leading in the world,enhance the contact with alumni and people from all walks of life, and providesupport for discipline development and talent cultivation, the "DevelopmentFund of the School of Instrument Science and Engineering, Southeast University" (YiYuan Fund) is planned to be established. We look forward to the strong support from ouralumni and friends from all walks of life both at home and abroad.
The Fund aims tocultivate leading talents with a national and international perspective who areable to lead the future and benefit mankind. The fund will be mainly used forinfrastructure construction, high-end talent cultivation, training of leadingtalents, renewal and maintenance of major scientific research equipment,construction of characteristic culture of the school and other projects topromote the construction and development of the school.
